This is Morgan's chick and she and her sister were brought into rehab because they had a lost a bit of weight. They have fully recovered and soon it will be their turn to go off to the soft-release pen and then onwards to learn how to fish.

This chick is also on the line re the head measure and could be either a girl or a boy. Being a singleton its parents got it to 6.3kg - that's a big penguin!

Now this one could be either a boy or a girl. The head measure is exactly on the line. At 5.7kg Danielle is beautifully fat and ready to head out. Good luck, buddy, you have Stitches as your mom, that's got to be a good start in life! Surely, luck is inherited!

Drobne Kuca chicks

These two gorgeous chicks were always happy to have their photo taken. They are a boy and a girl and suitably fat: 5.8kg and 6.3kg. Well done the parents. That's quite the achievement.

Andy's chicks

These two grew up in Andy Cunningham's box and one is definitely a boy and one could be either: grow into a boy or be a big girl. They had excellent weights and were gone few short days after this photo was taken.

It's a girl - and a beautifully fat one: she weighed in at 6.0kg and her head was 136mm - it's unlikely she will grow into a boy. Fingers crossed she comes back and makes babies in a couple of years time!

This chick can be found in a number of different nest boxes. On this day it was TeamKokoMelo's turn. From the measurements we decided it's a girl and she was 5.5kg at 90 days. That's a good weight and gives her plenty of time to learn to fish out there.

Brothers: Noodle and Squeak

They are the youngest but they are almost all the way grown now and turned out to be boys. Good and heavy too: 6.1kg and 6.5kg. Ewan and Shannon have done a sterling job raising these two in Class of 2020.

A boy called Pink

Comments

Yep, that's how it goes. He was a big boy weighing 6.3kg and a no-doubt-it's-a-boy-head measure of 145mm. No fluff, and he'll be gone in no time.

Pringle is mixing with Stewie and Anna's chicks

Neighbouring chicks eventually find each other and hang out. It turns out Pringle is a girl and the other two are both boys. These are the last photos of these chicks, they were gone a few days after this was taken.
